Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their day. Ours was busy, at the least the afternoon was. We slept in this morning because Jed's mother spent the night in the hospital. Still not sure what's wrong. She thought she may have had a small stroke. Thankfully that's not the case. We are still waiting to on test results to know what is wrong.
After a lazy morning, and a short afternoon nap, James and I got ready and spend the afternoon at the annual Trinity Presbyterian Church picnic. (Jed spent the afternoon in Birmingham with his brothers) James is at that age where he's not keen about being around a lot of strange people, but once he saw the jungle gym, that was it! He was in heaven!
First he found the steering wheel...
and the boy loves cars so this was a big hit!
Then came the slide...
He played it on the safe side and went down backwards.
He loved it!!
He was tall enough to reach the rings on his own!!
He even made a friend! How sweet are they? :)
After a quick trip to visit Nana in the hospital (someone was very tired and cranky by this point), and a couple quick more stops we finished our day with some McDonald's for dinner.
I had a great day with my little man! Hope everyone has a great week!!
